User Manuals and Other Documentation

Technical writing needs to combine the knowledge and experience of both the reader and the subject. Our long experience in the IT industry has shown us just where people and IT systems are coming from - and it often seems like they are from two different planets!

We will find the shortcuts to improve productivity, we will capture screens, produce diagrams and even use photographs where appropriate. We will talk to the business users. We will find out how they will use the systems, discover common procedures they will need to follow, find out how their work can be made easier. Only then will we bring the two sides together in a user manual that is relevant.
